I said, “Forgive, I need to forgive.” while disheartened from the discourteous words. “Forgive” became a strain on my mind and helpless heart. Then God said to me, “You are not the one doing the forgiving.” You are not the one acting in forgiveness. I am in you. I am mercy inside you. My mercy flows easily in you to release it to others.
