Be Open to the Presence of God

Are you open

to feeling the presence

of God?

This week let’s take a look at your consciousness of the spiritual presence of God. Where are you when it comes to being aware of a Godly spiritual atmosphere?

Awareness of his presence involves letting go of intellectual faculties and mindful physical logic. There is a spiritual world with God, and you have access to it. You are a spiritual being and a physical being. Many times our minds insist on explanations and reasoning before accepting something. Today we are going to dismiss our mind’s doubts to allow our hearts and spirits to feel the presence of God.

Philippians 4:6-7 NKJV

Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

Notice that the Word of God gives us a definition of the peace of God in verse 7. The peace of God “surpasses all understanding.” The peace of God is a large component of feeling the presence of God. Many times, if not every time, a sense of calmness and tranquility cover us when in the presence of God. So this week we will concentrate on this truth: The peace of God surpasses all understanding.

Feeling the presence of God’s peace defies rational abilities and reasoning. It exceeds all understanding. Many times I feel the presence of God in the worst of circumstances. When experiencing trouble or emotional pain, I sometimes feel a great peace come over me that brings me to tears knowing this is God’s peace. For during a time that I am distressed and hurt, I know that I cannot produce this peace on my own. My anguish is strong, and I am not capable of a great peace by myself. In these times my only explanation for a sense of restful calm and serenity is the presence of God and his peace. It is such a remarkable affirmation to the existence of God in my life.

So to become more open and available to the presence of God, we are going to focus our attention to this one truth this week:

From Philippians 4:7

The peace of God surpasses all understanding.

Let’s shed some of this need and desire to have an explanation and rational answer for things from God. The peace of God is greater than our understanding. We will start with meditating on the truth of the Word of God and taking hold of it. The peace of God and the presence of God surpass all understanding. As we let this truth settle in our hearts, our minds will become less of a hindrance to acknowledging the presence of God.

As of this moment in the Word of God:

WE trust and submit to the truth of the Word.

WE place our confidence in the Word of God.

WE know that the peace of God surpasses all understanding.

WE are now open to spiritual peace and feeling the presence of God.

WE are no longer trapped by a settled mind that only recognizes the physical world.

WE are now unsettled and unreserved in our mindset of a need for earthly rationale.

WE are open to feeling the peace that surpasses all understanding,

the peace of God and his presence.

This week MEDITATE and CONFESS!

Yes we are going a step beyond mediation! How exiting is that ladies!

I want to hear you confess the truth. As much as I adore mediation, I think it is time for speaking the words of our Creator aloud. Let the earth, heaven, God, Jesus, the Holy Spirit, angels, your house, your car, and your atmosphere hear you acknowledge your trust in God. Let your children, husband, family, and others see you rely on the Word of God by your words. It’s time to declare to Satan and evil that the Word of your Creator is important to you and you declare it without hesitation.

Say aloud:

The peace of God surpasses understanding.

and

I accept the peace and presence of God without understanding it.

Excellent! Fantastic! Congratulations! You are speaking the Word of God to your atmosphere and to your own ears! I am so proud of you!

Take complete pleasure in meditating and confessing the Word of God this week!

I love you all!

Truly
