Speak of God's Favor
SEE GOD'S FAVOR - WEEK 2
Psalm 103:2 NIV
Praise the Lord, my soul, and forget not all his benefits.
You see God's favor!
You praise God for His favor!
Do you speak to others of God's Divine favor?
Do you verbally express recognition of God's favor in your life and other lives?
Do you share experiences of God's favor with people around you?
When you tell others of God's Divine favor in your life and other lives, you bear witness to God's goodness and care for His children. You attest to the existence of God's grace and love on earth. However, you are not only acting as a witness of His favor.
Did you know that you are also praising and worshipping God? Speaking of God's favor blesses others by encouraging them that God loves them and wants to bless them, but it also has an even greater purpose - it is PRAISE!
Follow me on this little journey from a story I wrote several years ago that completely applies to today. It will open your eyes to the wonderful benefits of speaking of God's favor aloud to others.
One morning our pastor gave us a very inspiring message on praising God. He showed us that God wants praise from His people. We also learned that praise involves raving and boasting about God. It is celebrating God for who He is, what He does and what He has done in the past.
As I listened to this great teacher, my mind kept reflecting on praise relating to the acknowledgment of God’s favor. God pointed out something fantastic to me about praise! He told me that when we talk about the favor of God in our lives, we are literally boasting about God, His goodness and His delivery of goodness to us. We are in all ways praising Him!
When we recognize and admit to our shield of God’s favor active in our lives – we are praising God! As we express appreciation for God's favor, we show Him our trust in Him for all good things. Speaking of God’s favor is celebrating God and His nature of benevolence. We are boasting over His kindheartedness, thus praising Him. To say “that was God’s favor” when you see good and positive in your day or week is absolutely praising God. As God hears your words to Him (and to others) that express your thankfulness for His favor – He is satisfied and pleased!
Psalm 103:2 tells us to praise the Lord and not forget all his benefits. Verses that follow verse 2 give us a short but powerful list of benefits we can praise. However, you can also praise God over every benefit of every kind. The verse does say “forget not ALL his benefits.” When you speak of God’s favor you speak of His benefits.

This is marvelous news! I have been noticing and paying more attention to God’s favor so much more lately once God started this series of the favor of God. I have enjoyed imagining my shield of favor surrounding me. I have become mindful of His favor in my life and other lives, and this seems to be increasing at a staggering rate when I meditate on it. I want to be alert more and more of God’s favor. I want to announce that I see His favor. I believe this series will do those things.
So, what did our loving God show me?
He revealed that when we recognize and speak of His favor, we are praising our God! I love this revelation from God. I get to receive God’s favor as a shield around me, appreciate it, speak of it and this is praising God – something God wants. This is pleasing to me to do something to please my Father God and heaven. And it is extremely EASY to do daily. Awareness of the favor of God is fun! Talking about it is a breeze. To top it off, God desires it; thus, we are walking in obedience with these actions.
Dear ladies notice God’s favor daily, speak of it and give thanks for it; because when you do this you are also praising your Heavenly Father in this sweet endeavor.

ACTION this week:
Follow meditation by watching for His benefits (God's Divine favor) and expressing your gratitude for them to others! Watch for God's favor with those around you, point out this goodness that you have witnessed for them is God's favor! As you share, others will begin to share, and then more. And God will be praised by many today.
One last thing my dear friends,
You are God's beautiful favor to me! I am beyond blessed and honored to share God's messages with you. You are God's favor. What a lovely favor you are to me!
