HOPE for the Brokenhearted - Week 2

Are you feeling crushed and just worn out in your spirit?

Is your heart hurting these days?

Although it may not seem as if God is helping, I assure you that He is on the Spiritual battlefield on your behalf! He is working right now to bring victory to you, his beloved. I know from experience that it is difficult to see God’s care when life has brought trouble and despair. I have been through that in my past.

I am so sorry for your heartache.

Let me apologize for the hurt you endure. You may not receive an apology or any concern from the source of your pain. I did not. So I am here to pour out my love and sympathy for you. You don't need to know me personally for me to show you compassion. We are sisters with the same Father God. That is all you need to know. God wants me to care for you right now. So please accept my apology for the anguish you are facing. I am sorry that this has happened to you dear sister.

Just know this:

I have gone through a very sorrowful, heart breaking time in my past many years ago. It is my past, but God lets me remember the emotions of it to provide both empathy and sympathy for other women hurting. I am honored that He will use me. So keep in mind when you read the words God supplies my hands to write for you, they come from a soul that has experienced real heartache and pain, but survived it through Jesus.

I remember not feeling like God was there for me when I first received the initial shock and sorrow. You may feel empty and feel that God is not with you when you need Him the most. The circumstances that have caused your brokenness and suffering can be so overwhelming to your soul, that it is not possible for you to see God's care. You are facing so much pain in the physical world, that the spiritual world is almost impossible to see right now. And that is normal.

What God and I want to tell you at this time is:

Despite what you are seeing with your human eyes on this earth, there is a battle working on your behalf. The spiritual world is not sitting back watching you in this state and doing nothing. No, no, no! However, that is what your real enemy wants you to believe. Satan is taking a time as this to try to convince you that God does not care about saving you through this. That is Satan's #1 goal in your life right now. You might not want to hear that, but you do need to be aware that your enemy is at work. Your God and heaven are also at work with victory in the end.

It's hard to know what to say to comfort you or possibly uplift you when sorrow is taking over. I experienced a lot of emotions during my sad days (that is what I call them). I can tell you that your emotions may be strong, even overpowering, but they are only emotions. They do not define you! Emotions happen to you. They are not you! Emotions will pass; they do not stay with you always.

This is the verse that God wants you to meditate, speak and think on often as possible. You may not want to say it because you might not see it with your earthly eyes. It will help you! I promise! Focusing your mind repeatedly on the truth of God will begin to change your thinking. This will arrive to your heart also. Give your heart a little relief by using the "living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword" Word of God.

“The Lord is close to the brokenhearted;

he rescues those whose spirits are crushed.”

Psalm 34:18 NLT

The Word of God only expresses TRUTH. The Lord is close to you now. He rescues crushed spirits. This is the absolute truth from your Creator. Even if your emotions are ruling over you now, the truth remains. Try letting your mind explain to your heart the truth with repetition of the Almighty living and active weapon in the Word of God. Meditate or simply echo words from this verse to aid your mind in bringing comfort to your dear injured heart.

Comfort will come.
